Mountain Cottage - indoor hot tub

The Cottage is located in the bottom of fjord Ólafsfjörður, in the mountains. It has two bedrooms, a living room and a private geothermal hot tub in a garden-in-house area, that can be opened up to the terrace. The cottage is well equipped (fully equipped kitchen & washing machine) has WIFI for guests to use, and quality mattresses made up with comfortable linen, soft towels and warm blankets. The area is extremely peaceful. In the backyard is a heated football court and a playground for kids.

Great views over Eyjafjörður and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature surroundings with walking paths around the area and also to the mountain and coast. The place is also a residency for artists so don't be surprised if you run into open workshops, art shows or find Icelandic writers working on their next novel during your stay.

The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

Lítið fallegt og fullbúið hús með öllum þægindum. Okkar auka heimili á besta stað á Siglufirði. Vel uppgert og nostrað við hvern hlut. Húsið er á þrem hæðum, tvö herbergi í risi, á miðhæð er stofa, eldhús og wc með sturtu, í kjallara eru tvö svefnherbergi, wc með sturtu, þvottahús og skíða/útifata geymsla. Húsið hefur viðurnefnið Skógarahúsið. Húsið hentar vel 6-8 manns ef tveir sofa saman í tvíbreiðu rúmunum
