There is also a home cinema system. Short drive to Lofoten, moose safari, reindeer farm, whale watching and other nature experiences.

Unlimited fishing and hiking potential. 35 minutes drive from airport & Harstad, 2.5 hours from Lofoten. Road access and free parking by the cabin. 10 minutes drive to grocery store & the sea. A little house off the beaten track, between mountain and ocean. It has everything you need for a peaceful retreat and a chance to recharge in nature’s embrace. Built after the war by a woman named Hulda, it’s still known to the locals as “Hulda-huset.” My husband and I spent a year renovating it with local materials, honouring its original design. Today, it also serves as an Artist Residency, with artworks from past and future guests gradually filling its walls.

Gåsøya 4 er hytta vår som ligger idyllisk til ved vannkanten på Gåsøya om lag midt på Bleiksvatnet. Den har plass til fire gjester. To minutter å kjøre fra parkeringsplassen opp til den kjente fjelltoppen Måtind. Hytta har innlagt vann og strøm, gang, to soverom, toalettrom med dusj, stue og kjøkken. Gapahuken ligger helt i vannkanten. Båtnaustet som ligger mellom gapahuken og hytta, er utstyrt med benker og bord og egner seg godt som oppholdsrom.
