In one direction lies the picturesque Jordan River Valley comprised of 22,000 acres and over 17 miles of an easily explorable trail system. In the other direction is the bustling city of Gaylord that holds all the convenience of city life just a short trek to the east. The stunning destinations of Traverse City, Petoskey, and Torch Lake, are also a stones throw away or you can simply choose to sit by campfire light or walk in the 20 acres of woods sitting just outside the backdoor. Nestled firmly in the snow belt, when the leaves are gone and the white stuff starts hitting the ground you will find yourself in the literal definition of a snowmobilers paradise.

Cottontail Cabin is a cozy 1 bed, 1 bath mini-cabin on our farm located In the heart of the Chain O Lakes area just outside the village of Central Lake. Wi-fi. Smart TV. Small elec. range , microwave and small fridge. Perfect getaway close to Torch, Intermediate Lake and many more. Close to brew pub, wineries, golf courses and Lake Michigan. Originally built in 1995, this A-frame lodge was once a rustic hunting and fishing cabin. It lived many years as a seasonal property before evolving into what you see today. This peaceful cabin sits amongst 5 acres of beautiful maple trees. What drew us to this property was the quaint Northern Michigan location and the knotty pine interior. There is something welcoming and relaxing about a peaceful, rustic-feeling retreat in the woods. This is how The Lodge: Our Northern Knotty was born.
