Relax in comfort and take in the spectacular Grampians views. Walking distance to the spectacular cellar door which offers wine, hand crafted beer and cider tastings as well as a café. The villa can sleep 8 persons making it ideal for several couples or families. Plenty of space for the kids to play outside and entertain on the deck with outdoor spa.

Enjoy the peace and quiet, surrounded by the Grampians National Park. Sleep soundly in the king-sized bed, or enjoy a soak in the freestanding bath and watch the wildlife jump past. Our retreat is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway. We are located 5 minutes from Halls Gap, and close to all the Grampians has to offer including local wineries.

Mount Cole Cottages - Kookaburra Cottage

Kookaburra Cottage - Two bedroom eco cottage (built 2017) situated on our 13 acres bush property. Relax on the property or use it as a base for bush walking in the nearby Mount Cole State forest or visiting the Pyrenees wineries. Abundant wildlife including wallabies, echidnas & a wide assortment of birdlife. We are 15 km from Beaufort. Cosy cast iron chiminea on the deck; firewood supplied. Sadly, the historic meditation temple (c.1995) was destroyed in the February 2024 bushfire.

Our very unique and slightly quirky accommodation is based in a beautiful private country setting in Great Western, a short 45- minute drive from the foothills of the Grampians. Originally a shipping container, it has been repurposed with a range of up-cycled and preloved items curated with care. It is set in a quiet little pocket surrounded by native bushland with an abundance of native fauna.
