Grandfather Mountain, Price Park, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, wineries and and all of the restaurants of Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk are minutes away. There are 2 rentals on the property. The driveway/parking area is shared. Booking both properties together is an option. Dogs allowed with a fee.

A grocery store and gas station is nearby. Easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Penland School of Craft, lots of hiking. Only about 35-40 minutes from Sugar Mountain. Beech and Appalachian are other ski areas, but they are a bit further away. Linville Gorge, Grandfather Mountain, and Mt Mitchell are easily day hikes.

Come stay minutes away from the beautiful Linville Gorge. This area has everything from amazing hiking, mountain biking, climbing, skiing, snowtubing, to just enjoying the breathtaking scenery. This is a one bedroom guest house separate from the main house located in the neighborhood of Gingercake Acres with an amazing view throughout the space. There is also a bonus room with a futon. Enjoy sitting on the deck and enjoying a view of the mountains and a spectacular sunrise.

The Alpine A-Frame

The Alpine A is a solar powered structure on a lean-to roof, built by Gary from the show "Mountain Men" on History Channel. A deck with gas firepit, small grill, a couple folding chairs. Inside is a small living room, kitchenette, toilet room, shower room, queen size bed, twin size bed in the loft, the couch is a futon sleeper. If you've ever wondered what a tiny home is like, now is your chance to experience it in the Alpine A! We are less than 7 minutes from Boone.

Come stay in our cottage in the quiet little town of Linville NC. This cottage is less than half a mile from the Eseeola Lodge and less than 10 minutes from Grandfather mountain. Banner Elk and Boone are 15 and 25 minutes away by car. The area is known for wonderful hiking, fly fishing, cycling, whitewater rafting, skiing, and golfing. Our cottage is perfect for a couples getaway or anyone wanting to enjoy the beautiful blue ridge mountains.
