Ideal location if cycling or walking the South Downs, visiting Glyndebourne ,doing tours of either Rathfinny vineyard or the Long man brewery,exploring the beautiful National Park or just escaping the city for a weekend . They have own area for sitting and alfresco meals but are welcome to potter around the garden which is in its infancy and gardeners are welcome to add their advice on planting etc ! I am delighted to meet guests and am here to answer questions .I have been in the tourist trade for twenty three years running Centres at Bewl Water and SevenSisters Country Park so am happy to help with advice on where to visit ,best places to eat locally etc .However I am also very aware that guests come to relax,chill out and enjoy their privacy.So I will not intrude unless invited to 、 The hut is in the Village of, about 15 miles east of Brighton, in the South Downs National Park. Directly on the South Downs way;ideal for a stop over for cyclist and walkers. It's close to castles, stately homes, vineyards and, The High street offers colorful shops and excellent cafes and restaurants Close to mainline station to and from London. This quiet, charming retreat a step away from the bustle of village life offers privacy and relaxation. A little gem of an oasis! Parking is available in my drive.There are bus routes to Seaford and Eastbourne.The Railway station at Berwick is main line to Lewes, Gatwick and Victoria London . If you are visiting at the weekend you are advised to book if going out for a meal.I am happy to recommend places to eat .arriving by train Berwick station is only ten minutes away (mainline from Victoria) but remember to book a taxi to get to Alfriston ,Polegate and Seaford are the nearest taxi services.

Skylark cabin is close to Eastbourne for theatres and the Towner art gallery and many exceptional eateries and public houses including the Lamb Inn-built in 1180 stones throw from Beachy head , Seven Sisters and Birling Gap You are literally immersed in this area of outstanding natural beauty

A delightful self contained annexe with own entrance nestling at the foot of the South Downs, a stroll away from the Old Town of Eastbourne with its array of pubs/eating places. The main town of Eastbourne is a 20 minute walk away and for the energetic you can be on the Downs in matter of moments. Fully refurbished for 2024. Escape to the Sea

Gorgeous, spacious, south-facing flat with stunning sea views, original features, and high ceilings. The sunrises/sets and moon reflections are breathtaking! In between St Leonards on Sea and Hastings, and 30 seconds to the beach! The bedroom has a king size bed and the living room a double sofabed. Bedding is cotton/linen washed with non toxic products. Flat is on the 3rd floor but not that many stairs and as such, sea views far from the madding crowd! There is free parking nearby
