A delightful self contained annexe with own entrance nestling at the foot of the South Downs, a stroll away from the Old Town of Eastbourne with its array of pubs/eating places. The main town of Eastbourne is a 20 minute walk away and for the energetic you can be on the Downs in matter of moments. Fully refurbished for 2024. The annexe offers a double bed, lounge area with smart TV. Dining table for 2 which doubles as a work space with USB charging points. Fully fitted kitchen and shower room.

The local pub & village shop are just 10 minutes walk. Perfect for Glyndebourne, Charleston & Firle weddings or explore nearby towns of Lewes or Brighton.

Goldcrest Lodge is a peaceful hideaway within secluded woods on the 140 acre historic estate of Wadhurst Castle. Garden room has king size OR 2 singles -shower room & heating. Tea/coffee/Courtyard space, bistro seating. Buddy's Rest is at the rear of our property 1 night may be available. Set within a beautiful walled garden, Sycamore Cottage is a luxury, self-catering holiday cottage designed with care and style. In the heart of the South Downs National Park, one mile from the spectacular Seven Sisters coastline, Sycamore Cottage is a rural hideaway from which to explore Beachy Head, the South Downs Way, Friston Forest with the delights of Eastbourne and Brighton nearby. Sycamore Cottage is located in the historic village of East Dean, renowned for the Tiger Inn.

Hop Cottage

A charming one bedroom flint cottage set just outside the walled garden, with it’s own terrace perfect for taking in the stunning scenery. The open plan kitchen and living area features a fully equipped kitchen, Nespresso machine, smart TV and French doors leading out to the terrace. In the bedrooms ensuite the bath has an overhead shower. Dogs are welcome and will receive a welcome basket, there is a surcharge of £45 per pet. Parking is available in the cottage car park nearby.

Beautiful barn on the South Downs Way

Beautiful barn, perfect for walkers, also great as a comfortable and spacious base for exploring the local countryside. Local cultural attractions include Glyndebourne, Drusilla's Park, South Downs Way. This spacious artist's home is located right on the South Downs Way, and it is only about an hour and a half walk to the coast at Exceat. There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.

Shepherds Cottage

Shepherd’s Cottage is tucked below the slopes of the South Downs at Firle Beacon in a remote spot on an ancient Byway between Firle and Alfriston. It is a special place to enjoy the views, walks and culture of this part of the South Downs on the Firle Estate, former home and retreat of the colourful Bloomsbury Group. The cottage has been carefully restored to capture the unique history, character and beauty of the location and immerse you in this unique landscape.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway with beautiful views. We are located on the outskirts of Eastbourne in the picturesque village of East Dean in the South Downs National Park. It’s a 10 minute stroll to the Village Green where you will find the famous Tiger Inn, an excellent Thai Restaurant, Deli on the Green and Hikers Rest Cafe. Enjoy walks on the South Downs Way to Birling Gap, Seven Sisters, Beachy Head and beyond.
