Boutique Black Mountain Bungalow Near Asheville

Let stress melt away while sipping coffee on a porch and listening to birdsong from the surrounding woods. It's tranquil inside, too, with carefully selected furnishings inspired by minimalism, walnut floors, and locally crafted kitchen countertops. The house is located about a two min drive from downtown Black Mountain and about 18 min from downtown Asheville and the Biltmore. We have a chiminea and adirondak chairs in the back yard for our guests use. Build a fire and roast some marshmallows with the family! Up to two dogs are welcome with a one time $75 pet fee. Our rental includes everything our guests need for a short or long stay. Fully equipped kitchen for those who want to cook. Laundry and dryer included. We are available for questions and do our utmost to respond to your inquiries as quickly as we can. A relaxing and pleasant experience is our priority. The bungalow is only a few minutes' walk from Tomahawk Lake, beautiful walking trails, and nearby waterfalls. Visit breweries and restaurants in local Black Mountain and explore fine dining and nightlife in Asheville—a 20-minute drive away. Less than a five minute drive from downtown Black Mountain and approximately 20 minutes to downtown Asheville. Uber is available to get you to either location if needed.

Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. It is a perfect place for artists and writers to find inspiration or for guests who want to connect to nature by simply waking up with the trees. The cabin partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guest who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel. The Understory: Cabin with Outdoor Tub and Sauna

Welcome to The Understory. Nestled deep in the rhododendron covered woods, this romantic hand-crafted tiny home offers you a peaceful and memorable stay just 15 minutes from both Asheville and Black Mountain. The comfortable living space includes a rain shower, king sized bed in a lofted sleeping area, cozy wood stove and a full kitchen. Surrounding the cabin is a large deck with a table and chairs, a luxurious soaking bathtub, and a patio equipped with a fire pit and propane grill.

The RhodoDen

As its name suggests, The RhodoDen is a cozy 1974 Airstream Argosy nestled among the rhododendron of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Set along a trickling creek with a bonfire ring and a view of nearby Watch Knob, this is "glamping" at its finest. RhodoDen provides an idyllic place to relax, and is a great basecamp for hiking adventures, dining and nightlife in Asheville and Black Mountain, both of which are only 15 minutes away. Plus we are pet friendly! Update 3/24: We built a roof!
