It’s an easy 11 mile drive to Waynesville, Lake Junaluska, or the Blue Ridge Parkway; 20 miles to Cataloochee Ski Lodge & just west of the amazing Biltmore House in Asheville. Canton was recently featured in “Our State” Magazine for the revived down town area. We love the small town atmosphere, location & believe you will too. Red Cottage

Your stay at Red Cottage will be comfortable, easily accessible, and minutes away from Canton, Waynesville, and Maggie Valley. The circa 1950’s Cottage is fully renovated inside and out. Beautiful front porch and lovely sitting area in the rear of the Cottage. We are climate controlled with a mini split HVAC to keep you toasty warm in spring, fall, and winter and comfortably cool in the summer. Internet access and TVs in the living room and master bedroom. Washer and dryer included. Welcome!

The quaint town of Canton is ~20 mins to Asheville and ~35 mins to Cataloochee Ski Resort and an abundance of hikes/waterfalls within an hour. Imagine yourself lounging by our fire pit with a local brew or taking in the mountain views from the hot tub then creating an amazing meal. Detox in our cedar sauna after a long hike. Or if you are exploring the area then it is the perfect home base for adventures in the mountains or to Asheville for breweries, dining or shopping.
