We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

The Beach Barn

A unique 350 year old Beachfront Barn overlooking Sully Island and a few minutes walk from three seafront bars and restaurants. A tranquil escape from it all, with just the sound of the waves to send you to sleep. A great choice for a city centre stag-do for up to 19 people. The location is fantastically convenient - only 20 minutes walk to Cardiff city centre with its array of bars, clubs and shops. The ‘student union’ themed building has a hot tub and outside social area, while inside the spacious ground floor offers a TV, a fully loaded games room and a freetoplay games room. Lots of extra space including five bedrooms, two toilet/shower rooms, a downstairs toilet and a small kitchen/dining room

Heated Shepherd’s Hut with private hot tub

The Shepherd’s hut and art room are close to the river. There are four self catering accommodations within the grounds each has access to their own hot tubs. The Shepherd’s hut has a shower and toilet, hair dryer, dressing gowns and a heater. Sole use of the Art room is included and has full cooking facilities, a fridge, a wood burning stove, table and sofa. It is an ideal escape for a romantic weekend. The garden is festooned with fairy lights and who are invited to feed the alpacas.
