Beautiful 5 bedroom bungalow in Bruichladdich

Beautiful 10 person modern bungalow in Bruichladdich situated directly beside Loch Indaal with stunning views. Called Failte, Gaelic for Welcome, the house has recently been completely refurbished and modernised to create a stunning 5 bedroom property (3 superking rooms (each superking bed can be unzipped into 2 singles) and 2 twin rooms). 2 shower rooms with power showers plus a third WC. Well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. Spacious with great view. TV, freeview box, fibre broadband.

Beautiful granny flat with sea views, terrace, well-equipped kitchen and en-suite bathroom for up to 4 people. Unfortunately not suitable for dogs and small children. A further 3 rooms located in the main house can be additionally booked on Airbnb, also to provide a second bathroom. Please let me know via Airbnb Messenger who will be arriving and when so I can prepare the rooms. The sofa bed is a “small double” (1.20 m wide) and only suitable for one person, skinny couples or 2 children.

Pier House

Pier House is beautifully located with stunning views. A huge lounge with Juliette balcony. The house is presented over 2 floors with the living room on the upper floor to maximise the exceptional vista. The house has all modern facilities and comes well equipped and presented. There are 4 bedrooms, a main bathroom, a separate wc and the master bedroom is complete with its own en-suite and shower. The property is on the edge of the beach and next to the pier, utterly perfectly located.

The Black House, Islay

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house for High School to save commuting from Jura every day so don’t expect a pristine holiday let but rather a loved family space. There are 2 double beds and 2 bunk bedrooms (if you’re a party of single adults then 4 is the maximum number). Views are stunning and Islay’s great for whisky, wildlife or just rest and relaxation. Just a 10 minute drive from Campbeltown and 1 mile away from Westport beach (famous for its fantastic surfing), the area is known for its traditional whisky distilleries, outstanding scenery and the classic song "Mull of Kintyre". The lodge is also ideal for a golfing getaway, with 5 courses nearby and Machrihanish being known for having the best opening hole in the world.

Gartartan is spacious with efficient underfloor heating and insulation. The open-plan living area has an abundance of light, wooden flooring throughout and a modern wood-burning stove. Portbahn was our family home before moving to Jura, and we hope you'll find it as welcoming as we did. The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Old Gortan Schoolhouse

Welcome to Old Gortan Schoolhouse! Built around 1880, today the Schoolhouse is a characterful cottage. Located just one mile outside the village of Bruichladdich, with its progressive whisky distillery, the Schoolhouse boasts stunning views of Loch Indaal. From the dining room or garden bench, you can watch the tide, plentiful seabirds, and gaze across to the Paps of Jura and the other side of the island. With the gorgeous views and cosy interior, you won’t want to leave!

Coull Farm self catering holiday cottage is situated on the farm itself. The farm is in a rural location on the west coast of Islay overlooking sea, five minutes walk from the world famous golden sands of Machir Bay.
