Great Sandy Straits - Home with an Amazing View

Our Round House is located on a Rural Coastal Acreage, the edge of the Great Sandy Straits overlooking Fraser Island and the glorious blue waters on this area. Recently renovated and very comfortable we offer three bedrooms - the main Queen Bedroom upstairs has air conditioning, tv and an ensuite whilst downstairs is the Queen Bedroom and Twin Bedroom with the shared bathroom. There is also a separate toilet upstairs. Other areas to enjoy are the Lounge, Dining Room, BBQ, reading retreat & deck.

The Cove Retreat Oceanfront Upstairs Apartment

This unique property is absolute oceanfront. It has the main residence and two private fully self contained apartments. Our friendly managers Jan and Steve live onsite with their little dog Charlie. The upstairs one bedroom apartment has stunnning views with ensuite and spa. Pets are very welcome but we ask that they are not left unattended. We offer doggie sitting at very reasonable rates and provide pet friendly ideas. All our relaxing outside areas including the firepit overlook the ocean.

The Garden Suite

Welcome to our suite. Thank you for stopping by. The garden suite is a purpose built, fully furnished studio apartment with quality kitchen appliances and utensils. There is a large screen TV with Netflix and unlimited WiFi. A whisper quiet washing machine is under the bathroom counter for your convenience. There are beautiful garden views through French doors for your enjoyment. Full blockout curtains are on the windows. You have a private entry and are able to self check. Enjoy

RIVERVIEW HOMESTEAD ( Eco Friendly )

Just relax enjoying at beautiful river view overlooking Mary river and sugarcane fields on the front veranda. Just feel so free and chill out completely watching boats sail by with fantastic beautiful sunsets. Great for Honeymoons and families. Enjoy the lovely 7-acre gardens and fruit trees with river access and dams with birdlife. Have BBQ with outdoor sitting area or sit around the large fire pit. A peaceful quiet location between Maryborough and Hervey Bay in the peaceful river view.

Perfect for a romantic getaway, whale-watching season, trips to K’gari, or as a base for visiting Lady Elliot Island. 14 minutes to the Fraser Island ferry and 10 minutes to the Hervey Bay marina, beaches, restaurants, and Urangan Pier. Enjoy sunset views from the verandah or cosy up by the fire pit with your favourite beverage, keep an eye out for local wildlife, including kangaroos that often pass through.

Surrounded by a three-acre waterhole that attracts a myriad of bird life, our property is a true haven for nature lovers. Join Sally for an early morning bird watch or bird count from the main house verandah, wander the back paddocks, and take in the glorious sunsets. We’re just 8 km from the heritage city of Maryborough, 35 minutes from Hervey Bay, and about an hour and a half from Rainbow Beach. Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet (except for some noisy birds).

The Little House

Our Little House has open plan living and bed area with a private bathroom and kitchenette. A number of stairs lead up to a small patio where the unit is located. Plenty of space to park vehicle/trailer/boat. It is located on our mango farm and is above our mango packing area. All water used is rainwater and plenty of birdlife/gardens to enjoy. The stars in night sky is amazing. Guests will be warmly welcomed and left to relax and enjoy the space. A tour of farm can be done too.

The Ground Floor is self contained with own kitchen, main bedroom with double bed, large sitting room with two single beds, TV with access to Netflix, wifi, books and board games. Harry and Philippa live on site, along with two dogs, two cats, one horse Jubilee, 5 sheep, chickens and a flock of guinea fowl that come and go.
