We have two children (a 2 year old girl and a baby boy). We also have a small dog who is very friendly.

This listing is for a twin room at Chester St Backpackers, our small, homely hostel in the central city. The two beds in the room are made up and have electric blankets. We are are a long term stay hostel, set up for backpackers who are stopping in Christchurch for a while to work and save for their next stage of travel and students studying nearby. We are just down the road from Ara. You will be part of a shared house overseen by Pipi the cat.

Our gracious home 'Nirvana' is the closest and most convenient to the CBD overlooking Latimer Square and Transitional Cathedral. There is private access, off street parking, a breakfast area, spa and netflix. We have 2 bedrooms, each with ensuite and superking beds. The main bedroom also has 2 single beds, the 2nd room has a single bed. Ask about a special rate for 1-3 guests.

Our deluxe queen room has one queen bed with ensuite bathroom and toiletries. Room includes a lounge chair, desk, wardrobe, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and a smart television. This is a spacious 4.5 star Qualmark rated, one bedroom self contained apartment. The kitchen has a cooktop, microwave, fridge/freezer, along with a washing machine and dryer. The living area has a comfortable sofa with large flat screen TV. This apartment also has a heat pump air conditioner. It offers a super king size bed in the bedroom, with a television in this room also.
