The Old Schoolhouse at High Meadows is a beautifully appointed historic cottage set amidst a tranquil 50 acre estate of gardens and old barns. Close to wineries, breweries, the Appalachian and W&OD Trails and many historic villages (Middleburg, Upperville, Harpers Ferry) and only minutes from the Shenandoah River, this superbly decorated cottage is a wonderful get away from Washington DC and perfect for a couple or small family. Activities abound, or just visit local farmers’ markets and read.

Fully fenced country retreat with fiber optic, fire pit, fireplace, woods and fantastic swimming pool (seasonal 5/1-10/15ish) on 4 acres in village of Upperville. Walk to tavern/local market store. Comfortable, tranquil and warm home to enjoy long weekends or extended stays away. Play electric guitar, do board games&puzzles, visit wineries, roast marshmallows, swim, roll in the grass, watch deer, groundhogs, fox, birds (on occasion black bear) from decks/porch. Most importantly enjoy and relax!

Secluded chalet near the top of a mountain on 8 acres, just 70 minutes from downtown DC, 20 minutes to old town Front Royal, close enough to get Instacart from groceries, Costco and Target, and private enough to enjoy your sunset view from the deck every night and to not see any other homes! The home is at the end of a long gravel road and parking in a small cul-de-sac. Dogs are allowed for a $75 fee per stay for the 1st, $25 after, up to 3 dogs max, extra fees charged after reservation.

Welcome to my home! This house was built in the 1820’s in the historical town of Paris, Virginia! With lots of history and character this house still has some of the original exposed beams and hardwood flooring! If you enjoy the outdoors, wineries, breweries, and shopping this is a perfect location for your stay! Minutes from the Appalachian trail, and Sky Meadows park there’s plenty of hiking around. Famous Ashby Inn restaurant just a short walk away and many more amazing places!

Welcome to The Nook, a cabin nestled into the ridges surrounding Front Royal. The cozy retreat sleeps four! Enjoy evenings spent watching the sunset through the trees while on the wrap-around deck, or hang in the geodome as night closes in around you! We hope that you take the time to explore the towns, trails, vineyards, orchards, and river around you before meandering back to relax in your nook with a fire, a book, and a vinyl record playing in the background.
