The Appalachian Trail (McAfee Knob), Smith Mountain Lake, James River, and Carvin Cove reservoir are also close. Unique place has a style all its own. It is private, one year old now and hand worked by owner. NO PETS. Small 350+ sq feet. Open floorplan, no separate bedroom. Large front porch with wooden rockers. Kitchen is very small, with most everything except for oven. Has two small ponds with fish in them loaner poles and tackle in closet no license required. It's in the woods there is wildlife, stream and old growth trees to view. Park style charcoal grill in the yard. Hammock, picnic area at ponds.

Cabin on the Creek

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.
