If desired, we are delighted to guide you through the house and share with you almost 200 years of our home's rich history. Roam freely through our 120 acres of gardens, farmland and woodlands, or enjoy a guided tour of our grounds and learn of present day efforts to transform our land into a nature reserve.

Surrounded by excellent coastal and hill walking terrain, it is also a 10 minute drive from the Wild Atlantic Way, the town of Westport and the Great Western Greenway. Welcome to the Wild Atlantic Bus my name is Richard and I have transformed this 28 year old double decker bus after its life’s work transporting people around England and Ireland into a unique holiday and accommodation experience…..the bus is based in the heart of nature and near my country cottage and only a 5 minute walk down a country lane to the famous Lough Corrib one of the last remaining native brown trout lakes in Europe…..

Cuckoo Wood Hexagon, 5km from Westport

This cabin has a hexagon shape with a square porch where the front door is. The Hexagon, as I call it, is situated on its own on land that is half orchard half woodland. On the morning sun side, where the door is, the decking leads to the little purpose built bathroom building. There is a perspex canopy so you can walk over staying dry even if it is raining. A few goats and a few hens roam in the adjoining field.
