Andrew and Ann welcome you to our beautiful Victorian age Bed and Breakfast, in the centre of Ambleside, The Lake District. We are situated in the centre of Ambleside, but off the main road. There are many fantastic restaurants and bars right on our doorstep as well as lots of the Lake Districts most scenic hiking trails. 'Probably the best Airbnb we have stayed at.' Canadian guests, Sep, 2024. Our Lakeland Farmhouse, High Park in the English Lake District, is in the centre of a World Heritage Site. It was built in 1620, once owned by Beatrix Potter, surrounded by hills and trees, and with astounding views. At night, the silence is total. We offer a king-size double bed, satellite TV and WIFI, your own bathroom too with great water pressure and piping hot water. Plus your own downstairs sitting/dining room .

Ingleborough Micro Lodge

Beautiful barn conversion which is ideally situated for walkers and 3 Peaks Challenge adventurers! It offers 3 bedrooms in the main house and is within walking distance of the local pubs, café and train station and has its own private car park for guests. From April 2019 2 (dog friendly) micro lodges/pods will be added and are located in the walled garden area next to the main house, both with private terrace and bbq. Pods are en-suite and equipped with TV, fridge, microwave and sofa.
