Our Cabin in the Trees

Rural location in Tappen. Our 400 sq ft one bedroom suite is equipped with a full kitchen, living space and a bathroom with a shower. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape, attending a local event, or in transit between Vancouver and Calgary, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of our surroundings. We have a second unit on the ground floor of our house called The Sunset Studio. If you are traveling with someone else and they would like their own space, check its availability calendar.

A Suite Above

"A Suite Above" is a gateway to adventure suitable for all seasons. You can enjoy a view of Shuswap Lake on your private deck with the natural gas barbecue - you’ll never run out of gas! The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils, glasses, mugs, coffee maker, kettle and other amenities that will allow you to have a meal on the deck or at the dining table in the suite. The suite is air conditioned and the living area has a cozy natural gas fireplace for those cooler days and nights.

The Eagle's Nest is the perfect, romantic getaway. It offers the ultimate in relaxation, while you sit back and enjoy the crackling of the wood-burning fireplace, or enjoy a glass of wine while soaking in your private hot tub overlooking Shuswap Lake. Slightly tucked away in the forest, hidden from the road, you can sit and enjoy the stunning views from every room of the cabin. We provide everything you need for a relaxing getaway on Shuswap Lake - and we’re pet friendly!

Private Suite w/ Hot Tub and Beach alongside River

Riverside Ranch sits on 37 beautiful acres alongside the Shushwap River, 1km upriver from Mara Lake. The private guest suite has a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom including shower and soaker tub, and patio with hot tub and BBQ. The suite is self-contained, with your own private entrance. The property has a private sandy beach on the Shushwap River, just steps away from your private patio and hot tub. Breakfast service is available for an additional $20/person per day.

Holmwood Farm Julia’s Kitchen Suite

Julia’s Suite features a full kitchen. An adjoining (Buds Lounge Suite) can also be rented for up to four additional guests. Holmwood Farm is a very scenic property with great views and lots of hiking and x country ski trails. It is home to a small flock of sheep, and cows which are grazed regeneratively. . You will have access to fresh vegetables from our garden in the summer months , and free range eggs, pastured meats and locally sourced gifts from our farm store.

Located only 10 minutes off the Trans-Canada Highway and 20 minutes from Crowfoot mountain. Our semi waterfront loft has many characteristics and charm and is in a prime location on Shuswap lake. Near many parks, waterfalls and one of the most beautiful lakes to explore! Truly home away from home! 'The Broken Tine' - Studio Cabin White Lake BC

Your own private studio cabin nestled amongst the surrounding trees in the quiet neighbourhood of White Lake. Rustic wood interior finish with large open windows that allow you to feel like your waking up in nature. Lay in bed and look out at the tree tops only feet away with a peak-a-boo view of the pristine nearby White Lake. Finish the day off with a soak in the hot tub! 2 sets of snowshoes with poles available for rent! $15/day/set

Stay in this peaceful cabin on 2 acres hobby farm. . We're within short driving distance to parks, hikes, and beaches. It's only 2 minutes to the HWY 1. Our rental comes with 1 bedroom and 2 Lofts, an indoor fireplace, living room, and kitchen. Free parking, free coffee and tea, a coffee maker and more - we've got everything you need. Enjoy your stay without TV and Internet! You’ll be greeted by two friendly dogs named Tuyi and Missy!

Cosy studio cabin/ yard with easy highway access

Whether it’s your home on the way or a longer stay, you will enjoy your time here. Our little cabin has been recently fully renovated and is very clean. It is situated just 5 minute drive to Sunnybrae beach, 10 minutes to Blind Bay and Salmon Arm is just 15 minutes away. The yard shares a fence with horses, sheep and entertaining goats. We welcome well behaved dogs in the cabin, please let us know if you will be bringing one.
