Nook ( Carsluith holiday lodges) is a beautiful off- grid spacious lodge with a wood fired hot tub and stunning views across the Cree estuary. It is completely off grid so no tv or sockets only usb charging points in the bedroom. The lodge is pet friendly (max 2 medium dogs) for free sits in its own grassed fenced area on our 12 acre smallholding . We are situated close to the Galloway forest which is the famous for its starry dark skies and also has great mountain biking and walking close by.

Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. Popsal cottage

Popsal cottage is a charming stone built two bedroom home, exuding charcter and warmth. Nestled in a picturesque setting, it boasts stunning views of the surrounding countryside, making it an idyllic retreat for those seeking tranquility. The cottage has a cozy, inviting interior, featuring exposed stone walls and traditional design the cottage offers comfortable and well appointed accomodation. Inside there is a king bedroom and charming twin bedroom, providing versatile sleeping arrangements.

Ivy Bank Studio Creetown - Gem Rocks Neighbour.

Ivy Bank Studio, run by Mary & Jonathan, is an attached studio room of Ivy Cottage. It is independent from the main Cottage. Which itself was built in 1795 from local stone. It is situated on a private no through road, located directly in front of the Gem Rock museum and cafe. The location of the studio room in Creetown offers excellent outdoor views across to Cairnsmore Hill & Wigtown Bay. Creetown itself is a welcoming tourist village ideal for those wishing to explore Dumfries & Galloway.

Shore Escape

Shore Escape is a self-catering, coastal, family-run, handcrafted retreat with sea views and a stones throw from the shore line of Carsluith Bay. It is situated on the edge of the UK's first Dark Sky Park and situated on the South Coast 300 route. Shore escape provides the perfect base for a short break, and the perfect base to explore the beautiful Dumfries and Galloway. Please note: if guests are using sofa bed please bring own linens. Silver Lodge

The two bedroom cottage is well equipped and very comfortably furnished including a gas fired stove in the sitting room. Making it a perfect place to relax after a day of adventuring to discover the many delights of this wonderful coastline and contrasting landscapes of natural beauty. The paved patio garden with seating and attractive flower borders and beds is a haven for wild life and catches the sun most of the day, making it an ideal spot to sit to enjoy the tranquillity of the area.

The Granary, Little Tahall Farm

The Granary is situated on our small working farm with stunning views over Wigtown Bay. Sleeps 2/4 with twin or double bedroom downstairs, single/double bed can be provided in lounge. Small child friendly, travel cot, high chair etc available. Short drive to beaches, Galloway Forest, hills and coast. Five minutes from Wigtown, handy for the Book Festival. Great for bikers, cyclists, walkers, bird watching or relaxing. One well behaved dog welcome, please advise us before arrival.

We've got secret wild swimming spots, stargazing, & wildlife in abundance, lovely walks on Cairnsmore or just relax, unwind and reconnect with family & friends. Bridgeview, The Hollow

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay at Bridgeview in Creetown. Situated next door to woodland walks and rivers, the scenery is stunning. There is also a children’s play park next door for all the family to enjoy! Creetown hosts a gem stone museum and a heritage museum. Within a 20min drive there is also a Cocobean chocolate factory, Mossy yard beach, Kirroughtree biking trail and the red deer range park. All fantastic for the whole family!

Secluded cottage in elevated position with amazing views. Recently added garden room onto the existing cottage enables spectacular 360 panoramic views over Wigtown Bay. It is perfect for families or two couples, garden is fully enclosed (except for determined dogs). Kids have space to make dens, climb trees or toast marshmallows. In summer relax on the patio, In winter curl up with a book or board game and enjoy the stunning views from the cosy interior.

Relax in this calm, stylish space. “ little alba” is a newly renovated luxury hideout …set in the beautiful grounds of Dalavan House in the Cally Woods Estate. Within walking distance to the town of Gatehouse of Fleet with local shops, cafes and bars and just a short drive to local beaches. The Cally Palace golf course with its breathtaking surroundings is only a two mins drive away, where you can just pay to play.

Marchfield Cottage is a recently converted barn in a quiet corner of Gatehouse of Fleet. Local pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops are all within a short walk. Other attractions on your doorstep include numerous walking trails in Cally Woods, on and off road cycle routes in the Galloway Forest and quiet beaches where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of this area.
