This cabin is close to Western Carolina University ( about 4 miles), Cullowhee, Sylva and Cashiers, NC. You’ll love this home because of the views, the coziness, woodburning fireplace, firepit, convenience and unique decorations ( I call it the museum in honor of my grandparents). In addition to two bedrooms, there are bunk beds in the loft for the kids. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

Walnut Grove Farmhouse, a renovated 1930s era home, is a remnant of an old farm. We are situated on 17 acres of rolling hills with handsome views from the upper pasture along with a stand of 14 walnut trees. Sit a spell on the porch, listen to the trickling brook (a roaring brook when we get significant rain), the sound of birds, the sounds at night and maybe some turkeys will venture through. We are located midway between Franklin and Dillsboro, Sylva, Cullowhee.

Harrah's Cherokee Casino is a short 20 minute drive and the Smoky Mountain scenic train is located 30 minutes away in beautiful Bryson City. Our National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway are within 30 minutes, as well.

Cabin is the perfect place for families, we include an upstairs playroom with a game table, books, and toys. We also provide an outdoor grill, large porch, and lots of outdoor seating that will provide the best ways to enjoy nature.The cabin is relatively close to two tiny houses but still offers a sense of privacy.

Our cabin offers a treasured panoramic view of the Tuckaseegee River. It is conveniently located within 10 minutes to Dillsboro, Sylva, and Cullowhee, 30 minutes from Cherokee, Cashiers Highlands, and 40 minutes from Asheville. The living room has 2 comfortable couches and the kitchen includes all modern amenities except a dishwasher. All linens and towels are provided, and there is a washer and dryer.
