Historic Tiny Log Cabin at Beechwood View Farm

Enjoy the beauty of each season at our historic Tiny Log Cabin, built in the 1800s and newly renovated on a beautiful farm setting. Please read all of the description below, and scroll to the bottom before booking! Note—the cabin can be warm in the summer and chilly in the winter due to the logs and chinking. There is a window unit AC and heater in the winter. Also note—the full restroom/shower is a 30 yard walk to the basement of our home. Kuerig with coffee. No refrigerator or microwave.

The property has an excellent location, only 1.5 hours from Washington, DC and convenient to Culpeper, Warrenton, Front Royal and Interstate 66. It is approximately 15 miles from Old Rag Mountain and a 15 minute drive to the Shenandoah National Park, which offers an amazing array of waterfalls, canyons, trails, and hikes.

Our cozy efficiency apartment is close to a variety of attractions including first class dining and nearby hiking trails. The unit is fully furnished with a full bath, full kitchen, off street parking, and private deck and entrance. We are a short drive to the park or a short walk to downtown Sperryville.

A beautiful old farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The 1880 farmhouse sits on a small stream that runs through the entire fifty-five acre property. The house is clean, minimally decorated, with pasture views out of every window. The farm is located 80 miles from Washington DC and just down the road from Sperryville, Shenandoah National Park, Old Rag Mountain, Luray Caverns, The Inn at Little Washington and other local attractions.

Conestoga wagons were made behind this building near the Thornton River.; now guest will enjoy a recently renovated and spacious one room 'suite' right off of Main Street. Aunt Judy's House (AJ's) is a 19th- century cottage completely renovated in 2015. The views of sunsets, Blue Ridge Mtns and cattle across the fence will encourage you not to leave the porch. But should you decide to wander you will find hiking, history, excellent dining and a multitude of wineries within a 10 to 40 min. drive. Some guests never get off the porch as the stress of everyday life just melts away.
