With 600 miles of shoreline to explore, this cabin is a destination unto itself. This cabin is a living museum to our Appalachian history that remind guests of simpler times and ways.

Relax around the lakefront fire pit, or on the AMAZING and huge screened in porch. Downtown Hayesville is just minutes away, as are many hiking and mountain biking trails at Fire's Creek or Jackrabbit Park.

Come to the lake retreat with family or friends and enjoy the beautiful views of Kentucky Lake. You’ll find friendly families who wave hello as they drive by you in their club cars. The three-bedroom, two-bath house has a full kitchen, living room, and sunroom. The house is within walking distance of the lake. You can enjoy an early morning swim or go fishing in the stunning lake. Enjoy nature at its best. The retreat is not suitable for pets.

Cozy Lakefront Cottage with Mountain Views

Come relax & enjoy our charming cottage on the main channel of Douglas Lake. Experience breathtaking sunsets, lakeside bonfires, & refreshing dips in the cool water. Please note, the water level is highest from May-August. This home accommodates 4 adults max & 3 children. The dock does NOT have water at it during winter/early spring drawdown (typically Oct–April). Guests can still walk to the shoreline.
