Art's hut is a 1930's couples retreat nestled amongst a country garden and Glendale homestead. The hut is the foundation building of a family working cattle stud "Graneta". This cottage has peaceful country charm, well situated at the foothills of the Bunya Mountains and only 4kms from the quaint town of Bell which has plenty to see and do. Only 33kms drive to the heritage-listed Jimbour house and the beautiful Bunya Mountains which is a lovely drive with spectacular views and great walks.

Welcome to this freshly painted and comfortable country cottage on our 150 acre farm only 20 minutes from Toowoomba & 10 minutes from Oakey. Main bedroom has a small deck to sit & enjoy view. The new kitchen & living area enjoys country views with fireplace, air-conditioning & smart TV with Foxtel. We breed dropers, have 2 alpacas and frequent sightings of koalas. Horses welcome with 2 stables available. Only 26 minutes to Toowoomba Show Grounds. We can provide fresh eggs when available.

We are located across a tiny creek, up a 1km winding, gravel driveway where the cottage is semi-privately set into the bush. At night, you might see the wallabies munch and bandicoots dig, and if lucky, the possums may come down from the trees for a treat. During the day you may catch sight of a lace-monitor lizard which may come running for a treat.

Tenants have use of a fully self contained one bedroom unit with a queen bed & a sofa in the living area that can sleep 1 adult or 1-2 children. WiFi is available but there are no laundry facilities. A great place to stopover for weary travelers as we're just 7 mins from the Gore Hwy & the town of Southbrook. Ample parking. Complimentary tea & coffee.
