It was refurbished recently and has underfloor heating and a woodburning stove in the sitting room. It is a perfect place for family and friends to relax. The cottage and garden are for your use, there is a large area of lawn and grass all around the cottage. An ideal location for exploring the rich history of Scotland and to enjoy nature with lochs, beaches, forests and rivers nearby.

It’s perfectly situated as a base for exploring the highlands of Scotland, the fabulous beaches and places of interest around the Moray Firth, as well as being on the doorstep of the acclaimed Malt Whisky Trail. The Highland Capital of Inverness is only 20 minutes away.

East Stables - Glenferness Estate

The cottage is private but in the heart of the estate where you might come across estate staff going about their work. A stone throw from the walled garden and it sits above the Findhorn - where you can hear the sound of the river tumbling through the gorge. Access to lovely walks through the woods and by the river from your doorstep. Someone is usually in Glenferness house to help if needed.
