Hillside Lodge

Hillside Lodge is nestled in the village of Rostrevor, with restaurants, pubs, Kilbroney Park & the beach all within a 1 minute stroll from the front door. The lodge is a warm enticing space with a wood burning stove & spiral staircase to the bedrooms. A large garden lies to the front of the lodge great for children to play football or basketball. Set in the heart of medieval Carlingford, Co. Louth, The Baby House @ Wood Quay provides a unique and charming accommodation experience – it has the best of both worlds being right on the sea but in the heart of the village! The property comprises of an open plan ground floor of kitchen & living area with a small bathroom with shower, the whole room has floor to ceiling views of the lough. Its situated to the rear of a private home and only 10 mins walk from Ranelagh and 15 mins from Ballsbridge. Peaceful and charming you wont want to leave…. Taylor Swift stayed with us while enjoying a low key visit to Dublin. We were delighted to have her at our home and equally thrilled she managed to avoid the attention of the media.

Dundalk is situated on the east coast, half way between Dublin and Belfast (80km) with a population of 35,000. Carlingford and the Mourne/Cooley mountain range only 38km away. My house is situated 5 mins from the town centre and 2 mins from Ice House Hill Park. It has just been renovated to a high standard and I love it! It has two double bedrooms, bathroom, open plan living space and back garden.
