Gumnut Cottage

Only 10 minutes from Toowoomba, this off-grid studio cottage gives you an escape in the Australian bush with all the comforts of home. We are located across a tiny creek, up a 1km winding, gravel driveway where the cottage is semi-privately set into the bush. At night, you might see the wallabies munch and bandicoots dig, and if lucky, the possums may come down from the trees for a treat. During the day you may catch sight of a lace-monitor lizard which may come running for a treat.

Eldridge -Little Brick House- is my home but now the guest suite allows you to enjoy the charm of this special space. This beautiful little cottage was built in 1889 by bricklayer Albert Egbert Eldridge. Enjoy the gorgeous rustic brick interior complimented by beautiful modern conveniences. Centrally located to inner Toowoomba. Eldridge has had a renovation to make a cosy, comfortable completely private guest space. This is not a large space but has most things you need when traveling.

The cottage reopens from November 2024 Dear guests, you have the whole cottage and front yard available to use, we also have the main building and studio which is at the back of cottage but separate entrance. You can only notice us living at the rear property occasionally while we use the driveway. We will give you the most privacy but one minute away for help when you need us. Duchess Farms- Farm Stay

Welcome to Duchess Farm Stay, in Nobby QLD. This is a delightful country experience 30 minutes for Toowoomba CBD. Fully self-contained cabin style accommodation. 1 bedroom with a queen bed plus sofa in lounge. The cabin comfortably sleeps 2 adults and 2 children, we don't recommend 4 adults inside. There is room for a caravan or a few tents if you would like to make it a family affair (no more than 10 people). Pets are welcome. There's a cosy outdoor fire pit.
