This 1928 coal miner's home feels a little like going to Grandma's house. It is localed on a quiet street with pretty views from the hill behind the house. Helper's Historic downtown is an approx 1/4 mile walk to the east (down the historic staircase, under the freeway tunnel & over the swinging bridge). The town is filled with character & history. It is a great stay for a small family or a romantic getaway for a couple looking to recharge. Well-behaved pets are welcome for a small fee.

Enjoy beautiful views of the majestic Helper Mountains, birds, deer and squirrel sightings from in the house and backyard or taking one of the trails nearby. Located just off HWY 6, it’s only a 7 min walk to the river and Helper Beer, and just a 10 min walk from historic Main Street. This home is located within the great attractions that Utah has to offer. The Arches in Moab Ut, Goblin Valley State Park, Dead Horse Point, and many more! Green River offers activities to check out as well; Museum/Information center, Crystal Geyser, Beach area alongside the river, Golf course, Hiking, ATV trails, River rafting etc. Small farm community, population around 900, google area and miles to your destinations. Home is NOT kid friendly. No pets allowed. Host lives in town.

Historic 1911 Miner's Cottage - Winter Quarters

The Miner's Cottages in Historic Helper, Utah were built in 1911 to house miners from 27 different countries. Recent renovations have retained their historical ambiance, combined with newly restored modern conveniences. Beautiful front porch is a perfect place to watch incredible sunsets and meet locals. The kitchen is equipped with high quality cooking gear and the bed, linens, towels are all high quality. Fiber optic high speed WIFI with plenty of speed for streaming.

The 211 Getaway

The Getaway is located just 120 southeast of Salt Lake City. Within walking distance to downtown historic Helper. Meander on the walkway by the river or visit some of the local shops along main street. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. If you are traveling with friends, check out 213 Getaway. Each 1 bedroom apartment has accommodations for two and are adjacent to each other. Kitchen has amenities for fixing your own meals.

Perfectly located across the street from a beautiful park, city pool, Utah State Eastern Aggies Baseball field, hikes right out the front door and only 1/2 a mile from downtown. Newly renovated, with all your amenities you will enjoy waking up to the sunrise reflecting off of Helper Cliff.
