COUNTRY CABIN

This all repurposed bunkie is in a picturesque setting on Manitoulin island. It has a large deck to enjoy the day . 230sq ft living space inside. It offers a queen size bed for our guest to find comfort and rest , along with a futon ; this cabin has a wonderful rustic feel. The cabin is framed with a beautiful wood finish with select antiques as decorations. This humble cabin has solar lights, bar fridge, power bar to charge devices. The washroom is a compostable outhouse. We have fire wood.

The cozy 1 bedroom sleep cabin with a hot tub, its own bathroom and kitchenette accommodate our airbnb guests. We have gardens, apple trees, chickens, maple forest we tap, the lake for you to swim and play in with canoes and a sauna, as well as trails to walk in to enjoy nature and the abundant wildlife.

It is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic. This spacious cottage is on Lake Wolsey, which is a bay/inlet of the North Channel. It's connected to the “big water” via the causeway. Lake Wolsey is great and well known for its fishing, where you will find perch, pike, rainbow trout, and bass. After a long day of swimming, paddling or relaxing in the sauna, retreat to the cozy fire pit, or screen sunroom to replenish you for another day in paradise.
