Ideally suited to guests who like nature, the countryside and walking, there are no nightclubs. The West Somerset Heritage Steam Railway can be seen from the hut and is accesible. Kingfisher is located privately screened in our large garden surrounded by farmland and countryside. We welcome friendly guests

The owners, have tenderly re-created a heavenly chalet after the original chalet from the 1930's was knocked down in 2019 & rebuilt to this stunning standard by local craftsmen. The owners wanted a family space to share with guests, and have a mix of modern , retro & vintage with panoramic views over the ocean stretching as far as Rame Head ,Looe, Seaton & Downderry. Close to HMS Raleigh &Polhawn Fort. There are 120 steps down to the chalet.

Skirr Cottage was the home of the acclaimed writer Henry Williamson who is best known as the author of Tarka the Otter. With its pretty whitewashed exterior the cottage is set next to a trickling stream next to the historic Norman church of St. George in the heart of Georgeham village. ‘Iris Lodge’ is one of three, private lodges situated on the second lake of ‘Venn Lakes’, on the outskirts of Winkleigh. The lodge has its own, private garden and hot tub, which is not overlooked, and has parking alongside. Coarse fishing is available for an additional £15 per 12 hours, or £25 per 24hrs for up to three of your own rods per person. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, at a maximum number of two.
