We’ll meet in the Great Lawn in Central Park. Exact location will vary so I’ll be in touch beforehand with detailed instructions on where to meet.
Bring a yoga mat (a towel will do if you don’t have one!) and a bottle of water if you can. If you need a mat, contact me beforehand and I’ll loan you one for $2.
The class is 90 minutes and consists of a comprehensive warm-up, breathing exercises to center the mind and access the deep core muscles, intensive full-body strengthening, and a healthy dose of stretching as we cool down.
My classes are restorative and meditative but physically very challenging. That said, though, if you are concerned that you won’t be able to keep up, think again! No matter what kind of shape you are in, Pilates is for you and every exercise can be modified for any and every body.
I’ll be there at least 15 minutes early and I’m happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your body and your Pilates practice before or after class. I’m trained in a wide array of injuries and special populations and know how to keep you safe no matter what is ailing you, be it a acute current concer or flare-up or an old injury that you’re afraid will return. I also teach private sessions and group classes all over NYC if you are looking to deepen your practice!
I very much look forward to challenging and healing our minds and bodies together.
Other things to note
My class is in English, but if you aren’t fluent and are familiar with Pilates methodology, you will most likely be able to keep up just fine.

I teach a class in Central Park (usually in the Great Lawn but sometimes we’ll meet elsewhere - I’ll keep the experience updated!) and in Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn (accessible via nearly every subway line!).
