Vad du kommer att göra

Let's take a break from our day-to-day hustle and spend an hour solely dedicated to "now." No need to be productive or make the most of your time. At this beautiful lake, situated in the middle of the bustling city, you will rediscover your own pace of breathing, moving, and living. The session comes in two parts. First is meditation. Whether you are a newbie or a seasoned meditator, this session will help you begin your weekend with a clear and centered mind. As a group, we will do a 10-minute meditation. We will practice being present in the moment by keeping our attention on breathing. When thoughts come up, which is completely natural, you can simply bring your attention back to breathing. The second part is running. With our minds refreshed, we will do a warmup routine to get our bodies—mainly hips, hamstrings, and core—ready for the run. Then I will share lessons I learned in Kenya, and we will do a very relaxed and easy 1.5-mile group run around the lake. I will guide you in how to monitor your body, rhythm, stability and breathing for a great running experience. Come and join me and rediscover your own pace.

In 2013, I fell in love with running. My passion for running led me to Iten, Kenya, in 2015 and 2019, where world's best runners live and train. From the fastest people on Earth, however, I learned the value of running slowly, and with a mind of meditation. I am very excited to share what I've learnt from them and my own running experience in this trip with you. Sung also... -is a lululemon ambassador -has done Vipassana 10 day meditation retreat in 2011 -wrote an ebook on his experience in Kenya in 2015: <Running fast, running slow: lessons from Kenya and the art of letting running happen>

Located right by the Lotte World Tower, Seokchon Lake is loved by both locals and foreigners. Locals love to come here for walking and jogging. Couples often come here for an afternoon or evening with fried chicken, gimbap (rice roll), beer, or wine. The lake has its charm throughout the year, but it is especially known for its cherry blossoms in spring. Its serene water and view make it perfect for meditation and running .
