My name is Roopak. I am a Hindu living in Delhi for last 12 years with my wife and two children.
I also run a successful in-person Airbnb Cooking Experience. During this Experience our Guests used to take a house tour & we used to show them a holy Temple in our home. We felt that our Guests were always eager to know about Hindu religion, culture & customs. Therefore, we wish to bring our Guests close to Hindu traditions through this Experience.
We truly believe that through this 75 minute interactive Experience, we can educate our Guests about Hindu Gods, mythologies behind each God, how Hindus pray to Gods, various festivals related to each God and Hindu culture & customs.
The Experience is very creatively curated which the Guests shall surely feel immersed in.
My wife, Nidhi, shall be my co-host during the Experience.

This class was my second online experience with Roopak. I would be very happy if he ever decides to add additional offerings. His classes are fun and engaging; great with information, music, graphics - to make it really experiential. He involves each guest, by name. If only school was this fun for kids. As a person drawn to meditation and yoga, I thought I would be fairly "in the know" with this topic, but soon realized how much I didn't know, and was happy to learn. The class ended with a visit to his family's altar, which was very personal, meaningful and honoring. I highly recommend this and his other class on the Mughal Empire. Both are very interactive and lively. Namaste!

I had a great experience learning about Indian gods, Roopak made the topic interesting, easy to understand and well structured so you moved from one god to another in an easy manner.
After the session I feel I understand India culture and people better, I learnt about the gods and traditions but also I have a better understanding of present India.

Today me and my friend learned many interesting things about Hinduism from Roopak! It was an amazing experience. He knows so many things and answers every question so you feel like you've learned a lot. He makes the presentation really interesting and involves all people with interesting questions. There is also a quiz which makes everything interactive. He even shows you how they pray and made a prayer for both of us which I felt is a very lovely and heart touching thing. Thank you so much Roopak. I'm amazed about all the interesting things I've learned today. I totally recommend this experience! :)
