I'm the founder of neighborhood micro-bakery Black Bread Baking. I have been working as a professional baker for 8+ years. I have worked in Minneapolis, MN, Portland, OR, and Asheville, NC under mentors and master bakers. I am very passionate about sourdough breads and fermented foods for health and flavor.

During this hands-on class, you will be introduced to sourdough bread techniques and skills. First, you will be introduced to a sourdough starter and we will discuss how to keep one. We will mix a bread dough together so you can learn through texture, sight and your sense of time, helping you build a baker's intuition about bread. Var ni kommer att vara

The class will be conducted in my home, also the location of my micro-bakery, in the Tangletown neighborhood of Minneapolis. It's close to several of the city's finest bakeries and parks.
