If desired, we are delighted to guide you through the house and share with you almost 200 years of our home's rich history. Roam freely through our 120 acres of gardens, farmland and woodlands, or enjoy a guided tour of our grounds and learn of present day efforts to transform our land into a nature reserve.

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside, enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. Bellefield House and Gardens is a unique home, situated in the heart of Ireland. Lovingly and tastefully restored by its former owner the renowned architect and garden designer Angela Jupe. Both house and gardens have been carefully upgraded while retaining their period charm. The house is situated down a private drive and guests will have exclusive access to the 2 acre walled garden and be able to stroll the 20 acres of grounds that surround the house.

It is set in the backdrop of a forest with a vibrant wildlife. The quietness is deafening . There’s a river walk close by and country lane, - both these walks bring you into Birr.
