The cottage is attached to the main house but is a "separate" entity and again has its own private entrance as mentioned above. No smoking in the cottage please but on the deck just fine. Private second floor studio apartment with full bath, kitchenette, and office-ette. 3 miles to Sunderland Center, 20min to Amherst/Northampton. The view! Minimal decor, dedicated heating/cooling, dedicated entrance, ample parking. We only use unscented laundry detergent and cleaning products, as well as provide unscented soap and shampoo. Continental breakfasts included. Solar powered! But not completely off-grid as the automatic ABB categorization seems to indicate.

Our duplex apartment is centrally located on Main St. in the middle of downtown Northampton. Steps away from restaurants, nightclubs, museums, galleries, theaters and Smith College. Park your car and spend your day exploring our beautiful little city. You'll be staying in a sunny, spacious, private bedroom, with high ceilings, and windows looking down on Main St. Downstairs is an airy kitchen and living room. Central A/C & Heat. Wifi. FYI we do have a shy kitty.

You'll have the Guest Suite at The Historic Hill-Ross Homestead with private entrance all to yourself. Guest Suite is the renovated carriage house ell off the main farmhouse which houses 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 living room and 1 bathroom including your own private patio. One bedroom has a queen bed and second bedroom has a full bed and a single bunk bed. Hill Ross Homestead is a short, 5 minute walk into downtown Florence.
