Cowens Gap is a smaller lake, but has rental boats, fishing, a swimming beach, and 1 easy, 6 moderate & 5 hard trails to hike. Trails are on the All Trails app.

Located right beside Letterkenny Army Depot, the Chambersburg hospital and Roxbury camp are nearby. Gettysburg and Carlisle Fairgrounds are each about 30 miles away. There is a private entrance with a covered porch. Relax on a glider while facing the woods and listening to the sounds of nature.

The outdoor fireplace/pit gazing at the stars is must see entertainment. This intimate getaway will provide for making wonderful memories in a picturesque, relaxing location free from the bothers of normal life, with WIFI. Cottage can be used as a venue, pricing is then negotiable. NO SMOKING

History of the cottage: Built in 1998 as a gift shop selling Boyd's Bears, and other home décor, We were ranked one of the top Boyd's sellers in the country. Once we closed the shop, it has been renovated to a rental space. We want it to be a place people can come partake in our beautiful views, see wildlife & enjoy a quiet environment. The Cottage is located adjacent to our home but still give privacy to enjoy the location.
