The lake is a popular fishing destination for crappie, largemouth bass, hybrid stripers, catfish, as well as some of the Nation's finest snagging for spoonbill paddlefish. The surrounding area (110,000 acres) provides plentiful & diverse opportunities, including hiking, horseback riding, golfing, biking, bonfires, bird watching, off-road vehicle adventures, & some of the best hunting in the country.

It is located just minutes from Pomme de Terre Lake, several swimming beaches, boat docks, a state park with fishing access, a walking path, playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, and volleyball. You will also have walking distance to Dollar General.

ROBY'S LAKE TIME RETREAT!

Great location to enjoy boating, fishing or family gatherings. Plenty of outdoor space to park your boat or play out door games with the family. Sleeps up to 10, with 2 full baths and a fully equipped kitchen with a large living space to relax after a full day on the lake! We are located less than a mile from Pittsburg State Park and Marina, where you can launch your boat and within walking distance (.2 miles) to Pollo Loco Mexican restaurant and only 2 miles from the local grocery store.

Nestled in the woods, just a quick 5 minute drive to Bennett Spring State Park, this brand new cabin features a full living room, bedroom, kitchen, laundry area, and outdoor fire pit and grilling space. White Pine Lodge is located close enough to several outdoor activities to keep you busy, but off the grid enough to provide some peace and relaxation. There is a full coffee bar, stocked with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Queen size bed, full size hideaway. Wi-Fi Internet & smart TVs!

Wheatland MO Lake Cottage

Enjoy Lucas racing and the lake season at Pomme de Terre! Fall is a great time to visit Southwest Missouri. Our cabin is close to Lucas Oil Speedway, Wheatland Boat Launch and Pomme de Terre Dam. Bennett Springs and Lake of the Ozarks are within an hour drive. There are walking trails, swimming beaches, and fishing areas. Walking distance to 254 Cafe and Triangle Convenience Store. Many other food options close by or prepare your own meal at our place. Stay on your own private acre.

The Highland Bin at Haywire Acres, Highland Cows

Welcome to our charming boho-inspired Grain Bin Cabin, the Highland is ideal for 2-3 adults or 2 adults and 2 smaller children. Upstairs, you'll find a comfortable king bed in the loft, while downstairs features a cozy futon in the main living space. The full kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Full Bath with a walk-in shower downstairs. Experience a serene countryside getaway with breathtaking sunsets and peaceful surroundings, just moments away from Versailles.

Cozy Woodland Cottage

This cozy cottage in the woods (completed in June 2017) is perfect for a couple seeking a romantic getaway, enjoying a honeymoon, or celebrating an anniversary. (The sofa is a full convertible bed, if others plan to share the 400+ sq. ft. space.) Located in the Lake Hill (formerly Shadow Lake) Golf Course neighborhood (course is currently closed) about a mile from the NW shores of beautiful Pomme de Terre Lake, and about 6 miles south of Lucas Oil Speedway.

Truman Lake Cabin Super Clean "Private" Getaway!

Quiet serene location! Our personal cabin is located just 400 yards from Truman Lake. Short walk to the cove for wildlife viewing or Higgins' Landing boat launch is just across the highway, and has plenty of parking for vehicle/s, boat trailer, and great bank fishing. Clinton and Warsaw are a 30 min drive, and Iconium is a 12 min drive. Don't forget to look around in the lake feeder creeks, lot's of arrowheads in the area. We now have super fast WI-FI!

Galmey Grove Cottage

We are close to several Pomme de Terre Lake swimming and boat access areas. Another attraction is 8 miles away at Lucas Oil Speedway host to Boat Racing, Off-Road Racing, and Dirt Track Races most weekends April-Oct.
