Town End Barn is a spacious apartment in the pretty village of Orton. Situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Lake District National park is on the doorstep too. The barn has private entrance, garden, underfloor heating and a well equipped kitchen. The bedroom has a king-size bed. A large sofa bed sleeps extra guests. Children's accessories & toys are available too. Orton has a an award-winning cafe, a friendly pub serving great food, a well stocked shop and even a chocolate factory!

The Pods by the Stream - Swaledale Pod & Hot Tub

‘Swaledale’ is one of two pods at Flakebridge Farm. Luxury Glamping Pod situated on a farm located on the border of the Lake District & Yorkshire Dales. Each Pod has their own private hot tub, fire pit/BBQ, outdoor patio with luxury Rattan furniture & own parking/entrance. Sleeps 4 (2 adults 2 children) or 3 adults. Fully insulated with towel heater/radiator. Kitchenette, microwave, fridge/freezer, utensils, toaster & kettle. All bedding, towels & complimentary robes & slippers provided.

Cobblers Fold is a beautiful Cumbrian cottage that retains its character and is a perfect base for a family getaway with plenty of walks and more on your doorstep. This lovely cottage is brimming with history and a short stroll brings you to the village centre, an idyllic setting with a famous Chocolate shop and cafe. For walkers, Orton scar and the Howgills are an exciting prospect celebrated by renowned fell walker Alfred Wainwright. The position is superb for both the Lakes and the Dales.

Shap Fell Bothy, Cumbria. A unique adventure!!!

A beautifully unique building in the eastern Lake District. The Bothy is fully off-grid so naturally facilities are basic. The Bothy has a way of slowing life down. Over 2 floors; downstairs a cosy living area with woodburner & cooking facilities, upstairs a cosy sleeping area with view of the night sky. Dogs are welcome & it sleeps max 6. The Bothy is fabulously fun! We love getting back to basics, with some wildly wonderful indoor camping! Come have an adventure and make some memories!

Miller's Rest

Miller’s Rest is a self-contained one bedroom cottage with private parking with EV charger, 2miles from Orton, 5 miles from Shap. The cottage is peaceful with plenty of space and all modern amenities. The bespoke kitchen is well equipped, living room has a log burner effect electric fire for those colder nights. The bedroom has an ensuite shower room and large wardrobe. There is a small garden lovely for sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine, relaxing and watching the birds.

Bowderdale Foot is an enchanting refurbished farmhouse situated in the magnificent peace and beauty of the Howgill Fells, Cumbria. Located in the northern area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, there is access to the surrounding fells and countryside from the doorstep. It is a great location for visiting the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District national parks. An amazing and special place for friends or family to get together for a weekend retreat, short break or longer holiday.
