Pet-friendly, Netflix, Internet. Nearby is a 2nd cottage, "Bungalow", which is rented out separately and simultaneously. Guests walk in front of Bungalhigh and share yard & cove. Swimming & Kayaks. This property is dog friendly. We might be best for guests travelling with pets.

We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Fire pit, horseshoes, more!!!

Jack is a licensed boat Captain through the U.S. Coast Guard and offers a discounted sail charter to our guests aboard our 36 ft. Catalina, Luna. Or, hop the lobster boat, Otter, to explore the local islands.

Adorable Quietside Cabin

Welcome to the Quiet side of Mount Desert Island, With the same easy access to all of the wonders Acadia National Park has to offer. Why not stay on the less commercialized and more peaceful side of the island. This cozy small guest cabin is fully separate from the Main House. It has a private bathroom, kitchenette/dining area, and ample parking space. The main house is also going to be rented on Airbnb starting on 5/15/2025, the homeowner will still be available for any questions or help!

The ambiance of loon calls, fresh air, and the sounds of water all make for glorious sleep and relaxing memories. The water is warm and clear for summer swimming!
