The cows and pigs are contained by electric fencing (some surrounding the yard area). The host lives on the property (roughly 200 ft from the home) and cares for the animals daily, so is nearby and available if you need anything. You may occasionally see the host walk up to the side of the house to use the water hose for the livestock, but will ensure maximum privacy for guests.
