Wariin Cottage means wombat in Dja Dja Wurrung language. The owners of the cottage have an affinity with wombats and a respect for the traditional custodians of the land, so in naming the property they chose to acknowledge both. Wariin is an old miners cottage, circa 1900's, tastefully renovated to make your stay both relaxing and comfortable. It is perfect as a couples retreat or a small family holiday, it is private and pet friendly (small dogs only, larger dogs at owners approval)

Just a short walk to our fabulous town, shops, restaurants/cafes & lake! Set well back off the street, Headland is only one private little cottage, on its own, flanked with large lawn, garden and a couple of cute garden sheds. Circa 1860, Headland is one of Daylesford's originals--oozing authentic appeal, cosy and calming. Little Jem has all the comforts, with its luxurious king size bed, big double shower, spa bath for two, separate toilet and all with under floor tile heating to keep your feet warm. Pets are allowed, however owners must take responsibility for them as only the front courtyard is fully fenced.
