Large studio unit attached to our family home in HPP, a rural subdivision in Puna on Hawai‘i Island. 20 min from Hilo Int'l Airport & 40 min from Volcanoes NP. We have 2 large rescue dogs, Jack & Boogie, and a big blind pig, Lilo. They bark/chuff and will be excited to meet you. If you aren't comfortable around large dogs and a blind pig this is not the place for you. We also have many cats, unintentional coqui frogs, and our neighbor has goats. Animal noises are part of this rural space.

We are hosting a Quiet Hawaiian Oasis, less then 15 min from Hilo, Hilo airport and 15 min from the earthy hippie town of Pahoa. Our Ohana has easy access to main road but far enough away to be in complete silence and zero light pollution. The studio is separate from main house with a kitchenette, full bathroom with tub and central air conditioning. If your looking for great beaches, waterfalls, and hikes through the rainforest and botanical gardens, look no further.

The Laughing Gecko

The Laughing Gecko, a 100% smoke-free property, sits on a peaceful acre near cliffs and black sand beaches on Hawaii's east side. The studio offers a private entrance, king bed, kitchenette, bath, and lanai. Amenities include a washer/dryer, coolers, and beach chairs and beach towels. No A/C, as it's rarely needed. Rooster, chickens, and dogs are on-site. The refrigerator does not have a freezer.
