Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. Our guesthouse is minutes from the interstate, but you'll swear that you've traveled far out in "God's country." Surrounded by many Amish neighbors, we are centrally located to Cooperstown, Howe Caverns, the Southern Adirondacks, Saratoga, Albany, Utica, and the Mohawk Valley (all within an hour's drive or less.) Enjoy a quiet retreat far off the road with authentic Amish furniture and decor and modern conveniences (washer & dryer, dishwasher, Keurig, AC/Heat, WiFi and streaming TV.)

Welcome to Camp Moosehead! Our little piece of rustic heaven in the Southern Adirondacks on the West Canada Creek! We have over an acre of property with a private pond for your viewing, kayaking, fishing and swimming pleasure. Located 30 minutes west of Speculator, our property is close to hiking trails, snowmobile trails and other Adirondack sights. Bring your supplies for the weekend, your sweetie and your well behaved pups and enjoy your stay at the cozy cabin on the creek.
