The inlet is a wildlife refuge to seals, eagles, otters, etc. All can be spotted in their natural habit while you sit on the deck with a 90 degree panoramic waterfront view. Our home is bright, disinfected and spacious. Our 2 house cats (Sonic and Boom) agree too. (See note: Linus) The view amazes even us! (Yes, that is Mount Baker between the two large trees.) No one's complained about our huge and comfortable deck, fully stocked kitchen, quiet location and fun hot tub yet! Yippee! You will "OWN" the whole main floor and outside level. LINUS: We have a Great Pyrenees dog next door. He is put inside at night but his woof might wake you in the am.

The Captains Quarters at Sylvanrude is a step into a forest of Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Hemlock. The small apartment is above a garage, and is equipped with a coved ceiling bathroom, (tall folks beware) full kitchen, cozy sleeping area with a new queen bed on antique frame, TV with DVDs only, (wifi is through MIFI, a Verizon source), a private beach fire pit with beach access, and the most amazing sunsets over Case Inlet. If you are a bird watching enthusiast, don't forget the binoculars!
