Located on a hill, it offers stunning vistas of the surrounding peaks and glacier. Ideal for nature lovers and those craving tranquility, the cabin is fully equipped, heated and offers fast Wifi. It's perfect base for exploring the area with whale watching, horse riding, hot tubs, a beer spa, fjords, trails and restaurants just a short drive away.

Charming place to go horseback riding

Farm stay with amazing opportunity for horse riding, 360 views of mountains, and hiking trails nearby. Access to guest house door is around the side of the house by the bushes, and around the corner. You are welcome to visit our paddock, pastures and stables to look at the horses and sheep; Feel free to give them hay/bread or just pet them. 1. Large bedroom with queen size bed + twin bed. 2. The house is beautifully located in Hjalteyri. From the house there is a stunning view over the fiord, with both mountains and water in sight. The inside of the house is bright, because of the big windows and light colors inside. The house is located a 20 minutes drive from both Akureyri and Dalvík - two larger cities. Hope you will enjoy our cottage house and its surroundings. Hjalteyri offers a restaurant, art gallery and a public hot tub by the ocean.
