This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. Cozy old house from 1909. Fantastic view that simply MUST be experienced. Located in peaceful surroundings. HOWEVER THERE IS BUILDING ABOVE THE HOUSE The house has a small entrance hall, kitchen, dining room and living room. In the attic are 2 bedrooms. A SMALL TOILET WITHOUT A BATH/SHOWER! The cottage stands very close to the sea with a view of the fjord, the nearby marina and Torshavn. Cosy little old house in Tjørnuvík

The house is very old. Originally the house was half the size it is today, only around 15m2. In 1884 they built it bigger, around 29m2. Nobody knows how old the original house is. People have been living in the small village of Tjørnuvík for thousand years.

The Farmer's house
