Spacious and convivial guesthouse on the farm

Our guesthouse was built by my parents, with the idea that it would be similar to the viking houses in the old days : a big open space, divided in three parts. It's nothing too fancy, but all basic necessities are here ! You also have access to two extra bathrooms and showers, and a sauna. The farm has horses, sheep, chicken and dogs roaming around ! The accommodation is strategically located, about one hour from Reykjavik, from the black sand beaches of Vik, and from the Golden circle.

The house is at a perfect spot in southern Iceland where you can drive to the main attractions in the area such as Fjaðrárgljúfur, Vatnajökull, Diamond beach, and more. In Kirkjubæjarklaustur are common necessities such as groceries, restaurants, a swimming pool, and more. This home is a good fit for a family or a group of 6-7 travelers. It is located on a large land where guests are free to roam around and explore.

Your visit to Iceland will be a brease with this house as basecamp. This unike propety is clouse to evrything on the south coust . The "Old house" is in the center of evrything on Southwest part of Iceland. You have Geysir and Gullfoss about 40min away, the Seacret lagoon 10min and Friðheimar the tomato farm 35min away. The national park Þingvellir is about 45min from us also. Mt.Hekla is in plain sight and the river Hvítá, glaiserriver from the waterfall Gullfoss runs by the house.

Stunning villa with amazing 360 views, great location close to the golden circle and the capital region (only 30 min drive). The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 10 people. Himri is very spacious (300 sqm) and has everything you could wish for - a fully equipped gym and game room, a sauna and a hot tub. We just bought the villa and just finished a complete renovation. The house has 6 bedrooms with two 160 cm beds, three 140 cm beds and one 130 cm bed. The kitchen is well equipped. There are two washing machines in the house and two dryers. There is a small stream in front of the house, and the house is located in a beautiful valley with a river. It takes 30 minutes to go to Húsavík, Myvatn, Dimmuborgir and it is 40 minutes drive to Akureyri. 10 people can stay in the house.
