Indulge in a natural experience with seaweed baths, sandy beaches and a private slipway with mooring facilities.

Inishmore Aran Islands holiday home

Ideal for couples & families with older kids for a relaxing break. Situated on the western side of the island, 10k from the main village of Kilronan, surrounded by stone walls and rugged landscape with a panoramic view across the bay to Connemara and Galway Bay. It's a short cycle to Dún Aengus, Caft Centre and blue flag sandy beach. The ideal location to explore the cliffs and shoreline, go fishing or sit and enjoy the views. Not suitable for younger kids who cannot cycle independently.

Doolin village, famous for its music and culinary delights, is a ten-minute walk away, the dramatic not-to-be-missed cliffs of Moher a short drive, and a spectacular 14th century castle right next door.

The property is ideally situated in the townland of Kilmurvey, in the middle of the Island, right beside the famous Kilmurvey beach, walking distance from Dun Aengus Fort and Poll na bPeist, and only 7km from the main island village of Kilronan which has a selection of pubs, restaurants , and a well stocked supermarket.

Our house is situated away from all the crowed locations, it is a short stroll to the pier, with the beautiful landscape inviting you do a stroll in the evening to watch the stunning sunset or an early morning walk to invigorate the soul.

This little gem is suitable for 1 person or a couple to switch off and relax. The apartment is located in a stunningly beautiful scenic location in the middle of the Island which makes it an ideal base to explore the Ancient sites.

Fully off grid experience including solar powered hot water and a modern Scandinavian dry (compost) toilet. Upon arrival you are provided with a fully charged battery, powered by solar panels on the roof and a reservoir of treated rainwater harvested on the roof for washing.

Welcome to Maggies Cottage, a newly renovated property with the most beautiful sea views. This cottage is located down a quiet road, a brisk 25 mins walk from the ferry terminal. It has three bedrooms, two located upstairs and one downstairs. Two bathrooms, a kitchen and dining area, living room with a flat screen TV and a utility room. Please note we do not allow parties, hens or stag stay or events.
