Enjoy the wildlife as Deer, Red Squirrel, Pheasants and wild Rabbits will be your neighbours. Climb the many mountains in the area, some within walking distance of our front door or explore the local walks. Visit the grave of Rob Roy MacGregor or curl up infront of our woodburning stove with some hot cocoa and a good book.

The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).

We built the cabin to a high specification, it is in the middle of the forest with incredible views down to the loch, a burn running close to the front door and all the hill walking and wildlife around you that you would expect in Scotland. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen, living/dining room. Perfect for nature lovers, hillwalkers and anyone looking for a space to decompress and disconnect for a while.

Open all year. For couples, 2 friends or solo travellers . Dogs are very welcome. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. You will be surrounded on all sides by fields, woods or mountains but yet be close enough to pop out for a coffee and cake at the local village or taste a wee dram at the Glengoyne whisky distillery.

Immeroin Farm, Balquhidder. Comfortable, unique, traditional farm workers house. Go back in time and enjoy the peace and quiet in the hills of Immeroin. Explore the scenery and observe the wildlife. Self Catering. Towels, bed-linen, toilet paper, hand soap, washing up liquid included. Shampoo, shower-gel and personal toiletries are not. Another thing to add in view of the new Scottish legislation: we are fully licensed.

We chose to call the house Burn View as this is the view you see when looking out from our ceiling to floor window. Nestled in the heart of the Trossachs National Park with breathtaking scenery all around. A perfect location for a holiday in one of Scotland's most picturesque areas.
