Our lovingly restored and converted stone barn. Our aim is for guests to experience a historic and traditional Irish country home, while enjoying the comforts of modern living. We have SKYTV, DVD and WIFI but we can also offer the peace and quiet of the rural Irish countyside. Three double bedrooms compliment a spacious open plan ground floor. With its own grounds and parking, this stone property is on the edge of three counties and perfect for exploring the ancient south east and its coast.

Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. The Old Stable is newly renovated to provide the best of self catering B&B accommodation for 4 people. It is located on the outskirts of Grange Con village in the rolling hills of West Wicklow. It's set in a beautifully tranquil spot with it's own private garden and parking area. Moore's Traditional Village Pub is 5 minutes walk down into the village. Excellent for stargazing as zero light pollution and for relaxation as zero traffic noise! Surrounded by stud farms and agricultural land.

"Stable Cottage"

"Stable Cottage" is an old traditional style, converted stone barn, near our historic old farmhouse. It retains many original features such as the original old natural slated roof, old beams, pine boarded floors, exposed original stone walls etc. etc.. It is very quiet and peaceful, on a small working tillage farm. Originally, it was the stable where the horses were sheltered and fed for the winter months while the wheat, feed oats etc was stored on the loft overhead.

Our cosy cottage is a perfect base to explore Connemara. Enjoy our wood burning stove, underfloor heating, wet-room, pine furniture and leather two seater, 4 ring hob & oven, fridge, washing machine & microwave, a library, TV/DVD & garden sunroom with decking area. It is a perfect retreat for Couples and Solo Travellers especially, and a complimentary home cooked meal will be included at no extra cost for all those single guests travelling alone, if they wish.

Hawes Barn - 200 Year Old Cottage

Set within the Croc An Oir Estate (translated as Crock of Gold) and tucked away down a leafy boreen, this beautifully restored, converted stone barn offers a truly relaxing holiday where hospitality and a traditional Irish experience is offered in abundance. Croc an Oir is a romantic retreat for a couple, and traditional features include a cosy woodburner, a half door, arched windows and a delightful loft style bedroom. There is also a private courtyard and garden.
